1. Accept the proposal for pollution liability coverage in the amount of $1,873.05 from Haylor, Freyer & Coon, Inc., from March 22, 2020 to March 22, 2021 and authorize Supervisor to sign.

2. Declare the Onondaga County Bocce Court grant project in Camillus Park an unlisted action under SEQR, determining that the proposed action will not result in any significant environmental impacts. (Per Parks and Recreation Committee)

The traffic lights being installed on Gerelock Road at the end of the Gerelock off ramp from 695 South are temporary while NYS DOT works in the area in regards to completing the extension of the Erie Canal Trail.

1. Approve amendment #2 (contract number 30018, Deer and Tick Management) between the Town of Camillus and the County of Onondaga through December 31, 2020 and the compensation which the County will pay to the contractor during the extended term shall be increased by $17,500.00 for a total cost not to exceed amount of $112,500.00 and authorize Supervisor to sign. (Per Councilor Steve James)

2. Approve the donation of $500.00 to the West Genesee High School PTSA for the Senior All Night Party to be held on May 8, 2020.

3. Effective February 3, 2020 appoint Leslie Gasparini to the full time position of Deputy Clerk for Judge Petosa with an hourly wage of $22.56.

NEW BUSINESS

1. Effective February 1, 2020 appoint Matthew D. Dotzler of 119 Pacer Way, Warners, NY to fill the vacancy of Honorable Steve Poli.

2. Set the date, time, and place as February 11, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at the Camillus Municipal Building to hold a public hearing to discuss the 2020 Community Development Block Grant Funding.

3. Approve the installation of one fire hydrant for OCWA Project No. 420002 Farview Circle and bill the Camillus Consolidated Water District in the amount of $4,000.00 (option two) and then bill for annual maintenance which is currently $73.04 per hydrant per annum and authorize Supervisor to sign.

Beginning January 1, 2020, there will be a disposal fee of $15 per mattress. The cause of the fee is from a disposal fee charged from OCRRA (Onondaga County Resource Recovery Agency).

The Town of Camillus, Onondaga County and several municipalities will share a $6.4 million reward from the state for finding cost-cutting ways to share services. The state money matches what the county saved last year through several initiatives undertaken in response to the state’s mandate to look for ways to consolidate government. State lawmakers in 2017 passed legislation pushed by Gov. Cuomo to create local shared services panels among municipalities.

One of the projects is to include the towns of Camillus in the county’s Employee Benefits Association saving $437,699, the governor reported.

Under the state legislation, certified savings from the state-mandated process would be matched with state money. These funds will be set aside to mitigate future cost increases. Many thanks to Supervisor Mary Ann Coogan and County Executive Ryan McMahon for leading the charge on this.

AARP will be preparing tax forms at the Camillus Senior Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning February . The tax prepares are available BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. To schedule an appointment, contact the
Senior Center at (315) 672-5820. Appointments will be made beginning January 2nd. No walk-ins please.
