Due to the increasing use of Heroin the Camillus Police Department was one of the first in the state to receive this grant. It is used to offset the effects of a Heroin overdose.
Thank you for applying for funds from the New York Office of the Attorney General (“OAG”) Community Overdose Prevention (COP) program. We are happy to inform you that the Town of Camillus Police (NY0335000) has been approved to receive reimbursements under the COP program. The OAG will reserve up to $1,200.00 until December 31, 2014. This figure includes $1,200.00 in funds for the reimbursement of 20 complete naloxone kits and for $0 costs associated with training.
