ADJOURNMENT

Friends of Camillus Park

June 11th, 2012
Greetings to all,

Our Memorial Day planning meeting was exciting as first, Alison Dixon shared the
mission statement she created for our group.

"The Friends of Camillus Park are a local group of volunteers whose mission is
to work with the community to revitalize the Camillus Park. Our goal is to
protect the surrounding forest while promoting state of the art updates to bring
friends and families back to the park."

Thank you Alison.

Next we announced that Eric had located a County map showing iron pipe markers
of corners of the park property and a few days before the meeting with the
assistance of John Friske and a metal detector we were able to mark 6 boundary
spots from which we hope to mark properties surrounding the park.

Finally we marched in the Memorial Day Parade carrying our "Friends" banner.
Many more residents heard about us for the first time. At the June meeting we will be sharing the Executive Summary prepared by the
Forestry Club at SUNY ESF. Hope to see you there.

Mary
