My experience covers profit and not-for-profit, as well as government and private industry. I have held numerous leadership positions within various organizations, which include small business owner, asset management, fiscal management, economic & community development consultant, and developer. I also served as an elected union officer for 6 years.

In 2009 I was honored to receive an appointment to serve the Town of Camillus as a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals, a position I held until I became the 2nd Ward Councilor in 2012.  I have also been an active member of the Camillus Republican Committee since 2004. With my financial background and my pro-active business stance I served as Treasurer for the Onondaga County Republican Committee from 2010-2013.  Additionally, I have worked behind the scenes in several campaigns for people hoping to serve in Onondaga County, the NYS Assembly and the NYS Senate.

Community involvement:

I was one of the first volunteers to work with 40Below at its inception in 2004, working with the Re-Adaptive/ReUse committee which eventually led to the Pike Block development in Downtown Syracuse. I worked as a member of the Government Modernization Committee for Syracuse 2020, under the guidance of former City of Syracuse Director of Operations Vito Sciscioli, to educate the public about the redundant layers of NY bureaucracy and how the new consolidation law works. I also currently serve on the Board of Directors for FOCUS Greater Syracuse and the I-81 Community Liaison Committee.  recently I was named to the Onondaga County Neighborhood Initiative.
