III. §404-Definitions of Non-Residential Accessory Uses by renumbering A7 through A10 to A8 through A11 and adopting a new item A7 to read as follows: “Farm Brewery Processing: This use includes the brewing of beer, the distilling of alcoholic beverages and the fermentation of cider. This accessory use requires site plan approval.

Town Savings

March 29th, 2021

Thanks to the hard work and dedication by the head of our Buildings and Grounds team, Tom Hart, the Town of Camillus has recently secured its utility pricing for the next 3 years and I am happy to announce that our baseline electric cost is roughly 3.33% lower (per kwh) and natural gas is roughly a 10% decrease; these are both for the commodity pricing only. Locking in to the 3 year rate not only garners us savings but also allows for predictability in budgeting.

Police Reform

March 27th, 2021

In accordance with New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo’s Executive Order 203 the Camillus Police Department has released it’s New York State Police Reform and Reinvention Collaborative Plan that was recently approved by the Town Board. This was an inclusive effort that had many members of the community involved. Our Department, led by Chief Tom Winn, had incorporated several of the state’s recommendation previously as our team as always been very proactive. 3. It is the policy of the Camillus Town Board to prohibit the advertisement of the following subject matter on Town Property: Candidacy for public office; Advocacy regarding subjects which are highly controversial, obnoxious, personally derogatory or political, and in particular, abortion, immigration, sexual orientation, religion, sexual lewdity, racial discrimination.

The above applications are open for inspection at the offices of the Town Clerk of the Town of Camillus, 4600 West Genesee Street, Syracuse, New York 13219 during normal working hours. The Board shall listen to all persons wishing to appear at the above time and place. Communications in writing relative thereto may be filed with the Town Clerk before the hearing.

1. Approve the Public Employer Health Emergency Plan for the Town of Camillus dated February 23, 2021 and authorize Supervisor to sign.
2. The Camillus Town Board consents to the owner of TM# 017.-05-38.0 to apply for rezoning from R-3 to Planned Unit Development (PUD) and to apply to the Camillus Planning Board pursuant to its review of the proposal pursuant to Chapter 30-Zoning § 502 of the Camillus Municipal Code.
3. Accept the proposal from Haylor, Freyer, & Coon, Inc. for pollution liability coverage in the amount of $1,996.53 for the period from March 23, 2021 to March 23, 2022 and authorize the Supervisor to sign.
4. Accept the bid of $87,000.00 from Davis Mechanical Services, Inc. for the replacement of the Ice Rink Cooling Tower at Shove Park. (Per Parks and Recreation Committee)
