One of the sources of our state funding comes from the Consolidated Local Street and Highway Improvement Program (CHIPS). This funding helps us to maintain our local roads and bridges. Under the leadership of State Senator John A. DeFrancisco, Camillus will be receiving an additional $42,860.87 in local aid this year. My thanks to the Senator and the rest of the NYS Senate who approved this funding increase.
