We have been receiving complaints of standing water and drainage issues in the wooded area near the intersection of Farmingdale and Pinewood in back of the Greenfield Village development. Upon further investigation it appears to be the result of illegal dumping. Please be aware that it is illegal to dump anything in this area, be it cement, trash or common grass and yard waste. This not only places a strain on the drainage infrastructure in place, but when the town has to clean this area up and make any repairs it takes valuable time and man hours to due such work causing other work to fall behind and ultimately places an additional burden on the tax payer. Please be mindful and avoid this activity. If something seems out of place and you suspect someone is illegally dumping please notify the Codes office at 487-8930 or Camillus Police 487-0102
