A recent proposal was made to the Planning Board in regards to the commercial space at 103-5 Bennet Road. It is the space the was most recently occupied by Mo’s Pit BBQ. Below is from the June 11th Planning Board.
Mr. Edward DePalma, owner of the Second Chance Diner, and Mr. Thomas Ditullio,
architect for the project presented the application. The purpose of the application is to
obtain outdoor seating for a new diner occupying the space at this location. The square
footage for the restaurant is approximately 1323 square feet. The owner plans to have
12 tables of 4 for the proposed patio seating. Mr. Ditullio described the site as it exists
in detail, and also advised the Board there will be a six (6) foot stockade fence installed
on the north side of the building to screen the adjacent property from the restaurant.
The restaurant will use the existing dumpsters located in the northwestern corner of the
parcel. There is sufficient parking for the restaurant along with the other business
occupying the building. The hours of operation for the restaurant will be 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
