The Consolidated Local Street and Highway Improvement Program (CHIPS) is an important form of state aid for municipalities, helping localities to maintain local roads and bridges. In addition to maintaining the same amount of CHIPS aid Camillus received last year, the NYS Senate developed a Local PAVE-NY program and an Extreme Winter Recovery Apportionment. The total Camillus will be receiving in CHIPS, the Local PAVE-NY grant and the Extreme Winter Recovery Apportionment will be $265,988.86.
